Johnny Cash – Ghost Riders In The Sky (From “Live At Montreux” DVD)
For more info – www.eagle-rock.com The late Johnny Cash was one of the most influential figures in American music in the post war period. He managed to combine elements of folk, rock ‘n’ roll and country, which together with his distinctive voice and guitar style, created an instantly recognisable sound. 1994 was to prove to be Cash’s only appearance at the Montreux Festival. The “Man In Black” had just released his acclaimed American Recordings album and his European tour took in Montreux on July 5. This track is taken from the Eagle Vision DVD “Live at Montreux”.
Stevie Ray Vaughan – Texas Flood (Long version!)
( www.youtube.com ) Long version of Texas Flood by stevie ray vaughn ! Texas Flood is an electric blues album by blues guitarist Stevie Ray Vaughan and his band Double Trouble, released in 1983. Although “Texas Flood” has three verses of lyrics, the song is more of a prolonged guitar solo, allowing Vaughan to show off his characteristic electric blues style. During live shows, he would often play portions of this song behind his back, arousing an enthusiastic crowd response. Stylistically, “Texas Flood” is structured around the common three chord blues progression. Written and performed in the key of G (sounding F# because of Vaughan’s tuning), it is in 12/8 time, or compound time[1], which gives it a “slow burning” feel that is common in Texas blues. en.wikipedia.org

E1M1 rhythm guitar instruction WITH TAB: Doom 3 mod “Classic Doom 3″
myspace.com Download the soundtrack here doom3.filefront.com This is Sonic Clang, the person who made the music for the Doom 3 mod “Classic Doom 3″. A lot of people have been asking me for the tab on these songs and I hate writing tab. So I’m going to make videos instead. Tab is posted here www.doom3world.org This was from my remake for the Doom 3 mod called “Classic Doom 3″. If you own Doom 3, this mod is a must have because it’s about 10 times more fun than Doom 3 itself. Some people have told me they bought the game just to play this mod. It really is a fun time. I’m using Sonar 6 currently to make my music. In 2005 when I was actually recording the music for this mod I was still using version 4.

Metallica-Master of Puppets Interlude & Solo (Guitar Cover)
I’m playing along to the middle section of “Metallica – Master of Puppets”, including the solos. At the time I recorded this video, I didn’t have the tremolo bar for the Floyd Rose system, so I used pinch harmonics and bends for the squealie part of the solo. (I have since acquired a new tremolo bar.) I have received many comments about the first part of the interlude being played “too high”. People making such comments don’t realize that this part is a dual guitar harmony. James and Kirk each play a separate melody (one high and one low) to produce a very nice harmony. On the studio album, the high part of the harmony is much lower in the mix, hence the reason it sounds a bit strange when I play it in this video. However, if you listen to any live version of the song you will clearly hear this. If you still don’t believe me, I have cut out a small audio clip of their performance with the SF orchestra and isolated Kirk’s harmony part. Check out the link and hear it for yourself: www.box.net (Note: They have tuned down for this performance–it’s not in E standard) Audio was directly recorded to my computer using output from a Line 6 POD. Guitar is an ESP KH-2. Enjoy! For information on my playing, gear, recording method, and some of the tabs I’ve written for my videos, please visit my website: www.killrbuckeye.com
